Most American Deaths in Afghanistan

October 2009 became the deadliest month for the United States since the country entered Afghanistan eight years back following the September 11th attack. Eight US soldiers were killed yesterday in an improvised bomb blast. One Afghan civilian also died while several US troops were injured.
