Channel tunnel is around 50 km. So it is not impossible in terms of Engineering. IMO, This tunnel will be built sooner or later. The only problem It is not profitable with the current trade volume, and it is too hard to find private invest, except if countries make this over subsidize directly with treasury. However, it is likely that sub-Saharan West Africa and North West Africa will have grow multiple times in economic size, a few decades later. Meanwhile, the Moroccan-Iberia tunnel is not the only future projection for North African logistics. There are other projects too.

Arabs don't have this issue with whites as much. Some Arabs do think the white man is a genius, Saudis overpaying whites is an example. Whilst this is decreasing it's an issue, but this one more on a professional level.

It is not that..The ideal emplacement of the tunnel is sighed in Spanish territory not in the Gibraltar area.The project feasibility was discussed longtime ago and the Brits were not in it..it was an EU project..and Morocco.
