Moroccan four 'pledged allegiance to ISIS' before 'revenge' decapitation of female tourist

Four suspects in the murder of two Scandinavian tourists in Morocco allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS and foreshadowed the attack in a video.

Shared on social media, the video also shows the suspects threatening to carry out the attack.

Morocco's Central Bureau for Judicial Investigation has determined that the video was made last week, before the two women were killed.

The bodies of 28-year-old Norwegian student Maren Ueland, 28, and her 24-year-old Danish friend Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, also a student, were found on Monday (local time) with cuts to their necks.

The women, who travelled to the area for a month-long holiday on December, were found near the town of Imlil in Morocco's High Atlas mountain range.

The three men were arrested and detained in Marrakech on Thursday over the killings, about 60km north of where the tourists bodies were found.

The trio were found with a collection of machetes, a short blade, mobile phones and a slingshot.

Their arrest follows that of another man on Monday.

Intelligence officials in Denmark have confirmed to 9News they are reviewing video shared on social media, apparently taken during the attack.

Hajin refers to a small city in eastern Syria that was taken from ISIS by US-backed forces.

The Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said the killing was “politically motivated and thus an act of terror”.

“There are still dark forces that want to fight our values,” he said.

“We must not give in.”

These were two criminals who raped the girls then murdered them. Should not be seen any different then a rapist in the US or elsewhere who kidnaps girls then murders them. I think they made up the whole ISIS bit to avoid affecting their family's reputation.

Edit: One of the perpetrators is illiterate who got really interested in 'hunting' animals recently. Actually it seems like 3 of the suspects 'pledged allegiance to ISIS before in a video'. These nasty illiterate low iq Khawarij need to be pursued strongly.

On a serious note, RIP to the victims. This is bad and regardless if the ISIS affiliation was made up, ISIS sympathizers need to be humiliated in a strong way.

Also Western tourists if going to any of these country's should request extra security and/or go with Arab/Muslim friends on these tourist trips. They should not go alone until this security situation is fixed.

He is a bad poster with bad intentions. But, we need a strong response to this ourselves. They raped them then murdered them. This is unacceptable, Muslims in Muslim majority nations need to report anyone with ISIS sympathies and the security forces need to root them out of society, as well as their ideas. This is a major crime and sin in Islam and I hope Moroccan authorities execute them in the same manner they murdered the tourists. Or let Saudi executioners behead them. And publish their execution on state tv. They need to know there is a brutal price to pay for their actions.
