A quick question...do you know sample size of post poll surveys?? With that analogy all the post poll surveys will be a shame....as far random selection is concerned then one can easily say that this is more of an urban sample....and thus even bigger slap on all those who are making noises about rising intolerance in country....

you don't need to dip your hand into boiling rice to check if each and every grain of rice is cooked properly or not,You can get a idea by sampling random rice grains from different parts of the utensil it is being cooked in to know if the rice is really cooked or not.Same case here,Random Sampling.

If this survey is widely to be believed than its extremely alarming for India, It clearly shows India is going backwards rather than moving forwards, Intolerance is definitely on the rise and that is not a good sign in the long term.

In every democratic and liberal state the debate is healthy, you may not understand,and moreover Indians love to debate from anyone to anything. Infact the more healthy debate better for us.

My personal take this tolerance debate will have some positive in years to come. Infact Pakistan should promote more of similar debate rather than .....

How is this earning popularity? Why indians think everything has to be for popularity? Did he lack popularity? I mean in india chances are people know him more than you....same goes around the world ...So was he lacking any fame that he needed the intolerance level to rise AGAINST him?

A security threat doesnt need to be defined...If you dont feel secure based on things happening in your surrounding - things happening to people in your village, of your caste, of your religion or what not.......ANY parent would feel threatened!

Yes but even random sampling is done randomly and if it is for research it is done on a large sample....ANY statistician will tell you the smaller the sample the HIGHER the inaccuracy!
