What's new

more proof of the US becoming a corrupt Police state, father of 6 gets killed, Cop gets away

Yes ....tell that to Bush and Bush Jnr , clearly not for their intelligence

Obama is just a white guide in Black attire , he does nothing like black people

I'm not the one that voted for them and I'm to young to have voted for Bush senior. You're getting boring now, it was amusing while it lasted.

. .
Had nothing to do with race, most of the time it's white on white or something else and the cop still would get away with it. Like @senheiser said Police State.

@gambit , Canada can't be a State of USA yet I haven't received my yearly supply of free Canadian maple syrup yet.
thanks for pointing it out, liberal media always tries to do a race issue out of this but its more of a policestate issue. its just that blacks are making a backlash while whites do nothing if someone of them gets killed.

People are over generalizing things in the US.

If you live in a high crime area the cops are naturally going to be more edgy. These last few incidents in the news have all happened in some of the most dangerous areas of the U.S.

The typical American is not worried about being shot by the police. However if I travel to one of these high crime areas and wave a plastic gun in the direction of a cop he'll probably shoot first and ask questions later.

.
Cops are human too, they come in all flavors good and not so good. Problem is if you start prosecuting cops then every cop will hesitate to implement laws, there will more dead cops then dead criminals in a fight.

Agreed, Just shows what kind of effect media has on idiots such as the OP

.
I sincerely encourage Black population not to pick up assault rifles in this moment of sheer tribulation

20,000-30,000 black people might be too much for cops to handle USA might need to bring in the Airforce

Few things that came to mind after looking at the video

1. The man is quite overweight , he would not be able to run away from the police
2. He is wearing shorts and T-shirt , not much he could conceal , his hand are visible and he's not carrying any weapon
3. After he gets taken down , he does not try to resist , just keeps saying 'I can't breathe , I can't breathe'

The police didn't let go of the choke hold even when the man was down , subdued and finding it difficult to breathe.
This is in-voluntary manslaughter , the police could never get away with such acts in the UK or other European countries , thats for sure.

America definitely has a problem with its police using excessive force against Black people

So you are positive US police do not use excessive force against white people ?

I agree with most of what you say but staten island isn't a high crime area and chokeholds have been banned by the nypd.

We already did. His name was Bill Clinton. :D
No! His name was John F kennedy:enjoy:

This notion of "police brutality" isn't new. It's just that, with the proliferation of mass media, citizen journalism and the internet, people are blowing it out of proportion. The U.S. has ALWAYS been a police state and it's because of their heritage as a frontiersmen who value the right to bear arms that they need such robust policing (Pakistan could learn a lot from the US here). The militarization of the police forces however is something directly due to 9/11. You can thank the Taliban and their circle of supporters for that but everything else is being blown out of proportion.

The US police seems to treat blacks with greater hostility than whites. While it is a problem, we can't really criticize the US police when we look at figures regarding crime.
