Moldova chooses Russia over the EU

Strictly economy-wise, Russia seemed to be the right option. There isn't much EU can offer these days. They have too many problems of their own. Meanwhile Russia is desperately looking for new friends, they could have really helped out Moldova.
As I said I am speaking based on economy and not politics.

Moldova lost Transnistria, more than 10% of Moldova's territory, because of Russia. Moldova will never be friends with Russia.

The Russians helped them with Transnistria War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and by keeping occupying troops in Moldova.As for the economy,the only country that gave/still gives free money for Moldova is Romania and we're not that rich you know.Why didn't the Russians pump money in Moldova when the communists were in power ? Because they want a poor Moldova to subjugate.

I don't understand how Russia is able to occupy Transnistria. It's landlocked and you have to go through Ukraine to get there. If Ukraine is hostile to Russia then why are Russian troops still passing through it?

For the moment they are not.Those troops are there since before the Ukr conflict.Right now Ukr has sealed the border.

It's delicious to see the Ukrainians calling Transnistria a "Russian terrorist state" now given the fact that they fought alongside them in 1992 and supported that state up until 2013 against what they called "Romanian imperialism".Now they want "cooperation against the common threat and dissolution of the Russian puppet state".Choke on it lads.

The whole former Eastern Bloc collapsed economically in the nineties. Part of the reason for this is that the IMF demanded they immediately end all subsidies, price controls, import restrictions etc and privatise everything in sight. The transition to a market economy was a good idea as it's the only way that a country can remain competitive but they should have done it in stages rather than an immediate brutal transition.

Of course the US/EU installed sock puppets will not support Transnistria. It's not like Ukraine is in depended anyways; the reality is that while Ukraine has spout "democracy" they have systematically perged all political opponents, heck anyone that speaks up in parliament just gets the microphone cut off and then threatened with violence.

Ukraine is turning into a more violent and repressive version of Samolia while waiving around EU flags, swastikas, and colorful rainbow flags to imbrace the EU way of life. All the while all of Ukraine's gold was flown in the US by the US appointed crooks.

25% of Moldovans are actually Russian/Ukrainian/Gagauz/Bulgar colonists which are not natives of the land and we're brought there by the Russians as the natives (Romanians) where killed/shipped to Siberia/Kazahstan.Than take into account the 50 years of Soviet rule in which they were told that they are not Romanians but a separate people and the Romanians only enslaved them .That's why the Moldovan commies argue that Moldovan is a separate language from Romanian (they are the same though).He're the commie leader ,Dodon ,in a video:

Because in Europe they will wash toilets, and in Russia they can become admirals, ministers, prosecutors, and so on. 3 of 7 General Secretaries of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (head of the State) came from Ukraine. 2of them - ethnic Ukrainians.

Ukraine Moldova and Romania are among the poorest states in Europe. Even I know this much. But yes it is surprising to see poverty in Europe too, especially since from our side (Pakistan) everyone wants to migrate there. I remember Greeks making a similar argument for Romanians by the way. That Alexander was from Greece and Macedonia is a part of Greece.
