Shaikh Mohammad presented certificates to 128 graduates comprising the 23rd batch of cadets graduating from the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi. The graduation was attended by Lt Gen Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and other shaikhs, senior officials and members of thediplomatic corps.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday presented certificates to 128 graduates comprising the 23rd batch of cadets graduating from the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi.

The graduation was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and other shaikhs, senior state officials and members of diplomatic corps.

Following a welcome speech by Major General Ahmad Ali Al Ali, Commander of the Staff College, Shaikh Mohammad presented certificates to the graduates, wishing them a successful career in serving their country.

Shaikh Mohammad congratulated the graduates, especially those with a bachelor’s degree in military science, and called on all personnel of the UAE Armed Forces to pursue education in academic and military science and arm themselves with experience and training in various techniques and military skills that help them face challenges with confidence and faith in God and their scientific, military and intellectual capabilities.

He stressed that the UAE uses all its energies and resources in the service of the nation and its march of sustainable development in order to satisfy every Emirati who is at the core of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s attention and care.

Shaikh Mohammad, alongside Lt Gen Shaikh Saif, welcomed the guests attending the ceremony.

As the event came to an end, Shaikh Mohammad posed for a group photo with the graduates and commander of the college.

Mohammed attends graduation ceremony
Of 23rd batch of command and staff officers

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday attended the graduation ceremony of the 23rd batch of Command and Staff Officers at the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi.

Held at the college, the graduation ceremony was attended by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Dr. Hadef bin Jowan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Minister of Energy, Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Lt. General Misbah bin Rashid AI Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice-President, senior state officials and members of Arab and foreign diplomatic corps.

Sheikh Mohammed was accorded an official reception.

While addressing the audience, the Commander of the Staff College welcomed Sheikh Mohammed. He also extended thanks and appreciation to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support to the UAE Armed Forces, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid for his generous patronage for the college in particular and the UAE Armed Forces in General.

Similar thanks were extended by the Commander of the College to the Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for their support to the college.

Sheikh Mohammed presented certificates to 128 graduates, including 13 from friendly countries. He then congratulated the graduates, wishing them further progress in their military career. He also urged them to acquire the world's latest defence knowledge and systems so as to better serve their nations.

Sheikh Mohammed along with Sheikh Saif also welcomed the civilian and military guests attending the ceremony.

As the event came to a conclusion, the Vice-President posed for a group photo with the graduates.
