Did you just call that AK an SMG?
The SSG don't even use the Type 56 since it has a permanent bayonet, only Rangers and FC use Type 56
They use customized Type 81 and Type 56-I/II rifles.

I do hope you're just being sarcastic and not serious!
The Aimpoint is blocking the IR sights view...

This is called IR and Red dot integration. So with the help of an IR Sight one looks through the Red dot and hunts the enemy at night. I hope that this will clear your ambiguity.

And Type-56 is being frequently used by the army in Siachen and at other places-The one with the metallic folding stock.

What about the height difference between the Aimpoint Pro and the Bushnell?

as I said before, the Type 56 has a permanent bayonet attached to it.
The one with the metallic folding stock.
That's the Type 56-I It doesn't have the perma bayonet and the stock is folding just like the AKMS.

Not necessarily, the ones made in POF aren't equipped with bayonets. And use of type-56 is way more common in army then Ak-47.

I doubt that POF or HIT produce Type 56s?

Guns/Ammos are made in POF not HIT.

My bad,thanks for the correction.

The licensed production in POF is of Type-56 not AK-47.In army generally it is referred to as chinese smg.
If you get a chance do inspect the weapon available with guards on duty. They are clearly marked in chinese.
AK-47 is available with SSG and few people who like to keep their own weapons otherwise the standard issue is chinese smg a.k.a. Type 56.

At hot weather, this rifle burns like hell during firing. Till today AK has no match!
