And our government has banned sikh movement participation in Pakistan.......why Khan sb why? I expected better. wearing bangals and bending backwards isnt going to push Pakistan towards prosperity.

One thing, I am sure, that such decisions, whether right or wrong, are not being taken by IK alone, but with the consensus of the army; since these have very serious defense and security implications.

Can someone explain me the issue about Sikhs please ?

Thanks

Yes inputs are taken from all stake holders but at the end of the day its the chief executive's call.

On another note, I am of the view that Pakistan shall not, at least overtly, extend any type of support to the Khalistan movement, for one thing, that it is a very weak political movement, to start with, with hardly any firm and sure basis. A covert support, which has the element of deniability, may be given.

No. I don't think so. In such matters, IK is, by and large, just following the advice, given by the army, or arrived at by consensus. There is apparently no conflict.

By the same definition Balochistan liberation movement is equally a very weak political movement yet India does not shy away from overt support. Perhaps but it would have been better had we replied them in the same token. Besides giving India this finger at the very least will keep these bastards on edge.

There support, as well, in my view, is, by and large, covert. But, in any case, each country has to devise its policy keeping in view its own military, economic and diplomatic resources. This is a hard fact of the international politics, which is not governed by any moral principle. For example, can Pakistan think of doing anything of the sort, what US does frequently, in the international arena? I gave my comment, in this perspective.
