Modi- Junta curfew on 22 March, 7 am to 9 pm, India, CoronaVirus

It looks like we will eventually be forced to initiate lockdown ; better do it now rather than later.

This is Italy's graph AFTER lockdown, notice how they managed to limit the spread.

Good initiative. We as a citizen of India will have to contribute and play our part to fight against Corona. GOI is doing its bit, now we will have to stand with Government. It is not possible to control it without the help of people.

Cab-hailing companies Uber and Ola said on Friday (20 March) they have suspended pool ride services across India in the wake of growing new coronavirus fears.

The companies witnessed a huge drop in their pool services as people were afraid to share the rides with strangers while new coronavirus cases surged in the country.

"We are determined to help reduce the spread of coronavirus in the cities we serve.
With that in mind, we are suspending the Uber Pool service across India. In line with the Government advisory, we urge people to stay safe and discourage non-essential travel," an Uber spokesperson said in a statement.

Metros, which form the bulk of business for Uber, have seen the biggest drop in their business in the last couple of days.

Ola also said it is temporarily suspending its pool ride option called Ola Share.

"In our efforts to curb the spread of COVID- 19, we are temporarily suspending the ''Ola Share'' category until further notice," a company spokesperson said in a statement.
"The temporary suspension of Ola Share services is an attempt to encourage social distancing for all cases of essential travel for citizens," the company added.

The number of coronavirus positive cases in India has increased to 258, including four deaths according to the Health Ministry.

Despite the fact tht schools colgs, offices, mall n such public places are closed,,,,,it seems tht the general public just doesnt care,,for most of thm its hollidays rather thn isolation.
Outside on the road,,Ppl are going on about thr lives as if nothng is wrong.

Let me give an example.(which i got frm a bangalore doc)
Bangalore, its one of the top cities with better medical facilities thn most of India.
Population 1crore,,lets assume only 1% gets infected,,,,thats 1lakh patients.
Now lets assume, only 10% of the infected require ventilators,,,,that is 10thousand patients gasping.

Now Bangalore at best has 700 ventilators(lets assume they raise it to 1000 anticipating corona).
Even thn not all ventilators can be used for corona patients,,but only a fraction(ranging from 10-50%),,,which is around 100 to 500 beds for 10k critical patients.i will leave it to the imagination of readers to form whatever opinions they want regarding the patients left without ventilatory support.

Now what i wrote above is not doom n gloom but perhaps the optimistic scenario,,,n that is what makes the situation even more scary.

As far as Pakistanis scoring brownies,,,lets see how they fare.

22 march ko Subha Subha 7 se pehle n 9 k baad Corona nhi phelega Kiya....

Entire nation including his opponents also wholeheartedly support the decision.

CoronaVirus it seems will attack the country on Sunday 22 March...self isolation here is called a Junta Curfew...

How smart of Modi to declare Sunday, an off day as a curfew.

We Indians whole heartedly accept and will try our best to obey.
But what is your problem?
Is everything Ok in Pakistan?
