Is it PL21? As Pl15 is already integrated with JF17s and I think we already have 100 in our inventory bought immediately after 27th Feb.

It could only be PL21 as PL15 is also Mach4 at sometime and is not comparable to Meteor as it is based on rocket motor rather than Ram Jet engine of PL21 and Meteor

PL15 is definitely powered by a ramjet. No rocket motor can provide such a long range (200+ km) to any A2A of this size. Or it will be too big and too heavy that only a heavy fighter like SU35 may be able to carry one.

Pl-15 will be officially introduced with the block 3 , but as the radar on block 2 will be replaced by AESA , than even block 2's will be carrying them around . Pl-15 strength don't come from it's range but it's menuverability and evasion of counter measures . Rafale will have tough time against the fully equipped JF block 3 .

Something are better kept secret let them be in their dreamland...again they will be surprised more effectively now but they know the result and wont make any blunder again as done in past...It is confirmed about of integration of pl-15 but wont be revealed until time comes let Rafale arrive and see thing happening...

I mentioned sometime back that india's overhyped Rafales will be DOA (dead on arrival) as by the time they become operational, PAF would have much better capability neutralizing any advantage they might have on paper as of today. 2. or does only a few rafales going to change the story or narrative of fight betwenn IAF & PAF
