Modi greets Chinese people on China's National Day

Anyway, good gesture.
I wish friendship with all our neighbors and I wish India be friendly with all his neighbors.

India regard itself as the master of S Asia. It treats its neighbors as vassals. It treat China as a nation of untouchables. Chinese are inferior in the eyes of Indians. Or more precisely, Chinese are categorized similar to that of untouchables in Hindu caste system.
