The legend deserved much more recognition of his services to the nation. Unfortunately we have a history of either not giving the much deserved recognition or just maligning the personality through politicisation. Id like to quote for instance Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Abdul Qadeer Khan.
May Allah grant the legends soul highest place in jannah. The least we could do on this day is to recite surah to bless the departed soul.
