Misconceptions About Sikhism and Non veg

you are right Justin...... despite Sikhs being a minority they are found all over the World.

Thats very surprising to me and they are usually in large numbers

and i am surprised to see this "Langar" system.......... Muslims give Langar on Holy Shrines, Hindu's give prasads in Mandir/Temples and Sikhs give Langar in their Gurduwara's.

What is the real logic behind it

Every religion taught us good things and has majority of conman principles the culprits are us who twist it to harm humanity.

logic of langer is simple that is sharing we should not become selfish and what god gives us should be shared by his people so he keep giving to us and humanity remains in this world.

one can call it Zakat/Langer/Prasad/Bhandara etc. etc.

interesting i like learning about other religions what do pakistani sikhs eat ? are they vegetarian or have their own meat ? or do sikhs bring their own food when they come to lahore for pilgrimage coz eveythings's halal over there.

I guess halal or jhatka isn't followed that strictly by Sikhs when in Pakistan. When something isn't available you gotta go with what is available. I have been to many halal restaurants and I dont make a fuss about halal or jhatka meat. But if given a choice I'd definitely go with Jhatka.
