Ministry of defense delivers 20 overhauled Helicopters to the Armed forces

MOD's panha company delivered 20 overhauled helicopters to Iran's armed forces.

The helicopter were Bell-205,206,212,214,412,SH-3,RH-53,CH-47 and Mi-17s

Do we have any plan for indigenous helicopters ?

I know we had Shahed series but if I'm not mistaken they were reverse engineered of American copters .

Yes. there are several projects that we know of
Balgarde meli(National helicopter) which will be unveiled this year

Any detail regarding the capacity of them .

Well, most of them are transport helis, but it appears that ''balgarde meli'' has offensive capability so we have to wait and see.

But when Iran build a new attack chopper it will be definitely better than the original AH-1J that we have received, we have a lot of experience with cobra and we have upgraded our cobras(see Toufan-2)

We also have made our own cobras(see Panha P4) our only problem was the engines which will be solved in the near future

Edit:The overhauled AH-1s pictured above have new missile(the project is named Eftekhar-1)
Maybe this is the new missile with 4km range

Off board sensor would make sense. The UAV does not need FLIR, it needs a designator FYI.
A man on the ground with a designator can essentially guide a laser guided rocket dropped from a hot air balloon for that matter.

These piecemeal upgrades and updates won't do much for us. I can think of 4 different upgrade programs for the Cobra in the past 5 years. We need programs that are driven by clearly defined requirements. But as we know, we suffer from our lack of leadership and management skills.
