Minister: Pakistan ready to supply Azerbaijan with defense industry products

(MENAFN - Trend News Agency) Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 6

Trendakistan is ready to supply the Azerbaijani army with the necessary products of the defense industry, the Federal Defense Production Minister of Pakistan Zubaida Jalal Khan said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizade, the Embassy said in a message.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the defense industry, exchanged views on the continuation of joint projects in this sector, participation in exhibitions held in both countries, exchange of experience, scientific cooperation, joint visits and joint ventures.

The minister noted that Pakistan is interested in further strengthening cooperation in the defense industry and is ready to supply the Azerbaijani army with the necessary products of the defense industry.

Jalal Khan also noted that the Azerbaijani side was invited to participate in the international defense exhibition, IDEAS 2018, in Pakistan, which will be held on November 27-30, and stressed that she is expecting the Azerbaijani delegation to participate in the exhibition.

Pakistan defense industry should also takeover electricity generation and distribution.

Any Candidate in your mind from Pakistan National Assembly or senate?
Besides she is part of the cabinet to represent the Balochistan Awami Party, A Coalition member of the federal government. This is how our Parliamentary democracy works i guess. Cabinet is deemed to be made out of Public representatives and not Technocrats. Previously it was Rana Tanveer who is as clueless of defense production as this lady is as well. Ideally it must be an Ex-DG of a Public sector Defense production institutes like POF Wah, PAC Kamra, HIT Taxila, KS&EW Karachi etc.
Or any other suggestion?

Azarbaijan is sending ambassador for agreeing on policy guidelines ... technical aspects will suerly be taken care by technical persons ...

And who knows behind the scene technical aspects are already being finalized and this is just a reassurance of actual negotiations ...

What is an ambassador? anyone can be made an ambassador.. it is political post and not a professional qualification. Is she even a career diplomat? and the answer is no. Furthermore, engineers are among the most qualified people in the nation so definitely they can do a much better job that BA pass politician.
