Even if I couldn’t vote but it makes me smile for supporting Imran Khan and fighting for him on social media.
Just couple of months to go and those who criticized his decisions for ministries would get to know, it’s Imran Khan...a person with vision.

Get a simple wedding nikkah in a local masjid... Then donate food to the poor... Forget the extravaganza and inviting ungrateful friends and obscure relatives who won't even remember the wedding two days later.... Wedding functions are overrated.

Don't worry... Tearing out the two three marriage Halls built illegally on encroached land won't do anything. Tear em down.

IK should not commit the mistake which Zia did with no succession plan to carry on the policies and vision for Pakistan. SMQ being vice president of PTI cannot be trusted and will almost certainly will go back to traditional politics that we have seen. Whenever IK hangs his boots, Afridi can be ideal replacement.

The unfortunate reality of Pakistan is that a person has to be of Punjabi descent to be acceptable to the traditional voters of Punjab (who form the bulk of the electorate). Imran Khan is borderline acceptable himself since he was born and raised in Lahore and his hometown is Mianwali which is part of Punjab - even then it took decades of trying to make him acceptable to the wider population. If I recall correctly the only non-Punjabi the Punjabi voter has voted for in great numbers has been ZAB and his daughter.


You think a guy like Shehryar Afridi can be the face of PTI that gets them to win a majority from Punjab? I doubt it. Someone like a Jahangir Tareen has greater chance of being a good choice for PTI, but he isn't much younger than IK himself.

Don't kid yourself by claiming NS to be Kashmiri. Yes he has Kashmiri background but his family have been settled in Punjab for centuries. He is true son of the soil. There is a reason why he is called Sher-e-Punjab.
