ISLAMABAD – Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the government has no problem with the protest announced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, however the authorities will have to spend millions of rupees to provide security for the protesters.

Talking to journalists here on Friday, he said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was no more a cricketer, and should demonstrate political maturity. Now he (Imran) has entered in politics so he must use political terms instead of cricket terms, he said.

Saad Rafique also said that PTI wanted decision of its choice from courts on the issue of thumbs’ verification but courts had their own mechanism to deliver verdict and justice. He said that the PTI chief had failed to provide evidences of rigging. During the elections, Imran Khan was playing cricket, he said.

He said Imran Khan played his campaign going on helicopters and air conditioned cars in Lodhran and other backward areas where people even do not have anything to eat while Shahbaz Sharif done several development works in Punjab due to which people elected him.

He said that Imran Khan must stop misleading the public, instead of protesting on streets he should show up in the National Assembly and talk there.
