Military leaders vow to ‘speed up’ operation against terrorists

KARACHI:

A high-level meeting at the Governor House around midnight resulted in the outcome of civil and military leaders deciding to ‘speed up’ the process of killing terrorists and criminals in Karachi, according to local media sources.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Corps Commander Karachi, DG Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) attended the meeting on law and order. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad also were present at the meeting, authorities reported.

The ongoing operation in Karachi will continue indiscriminately, the leaders unanimously decided.
