Suspected Militants attacked army patrolling party by firing upon them indiscriminately, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.

They said that suspected Militants on Thursday noon attacked a patrol party of 44 RR of Indian Army in Aripal area of Shopian in South Kashmir, to which the army retaliated, forcing the militants to flee.

As per initial reports, nobody has been injured in the attack, the area has been cordoned off by forces and a search operation has been launched.
