Hmm I doubt that it would be the case.
The IAF would probably have reduced flying hours in that event.

MIG-29A already has the worst uptime in IAF.
They havent gone for mid-life upgrade in 22 years, I believe is the main reason.

Well it should do. Less hours in the air mean less hours of airframe stress as well as pilot error.
