Middle east countries boycotting Indian consumer goods for Insulting the Prophet of Islam

No wonder, America changed the IK regime. But, was it not after IK visited Russia after the Russia-Ukraine war started? His visit meant supporting Russia in the war.

The US had been against Imran Khan since even before he became PM. That's because he was the only politician who spoke out against US drone strikes killing Pakistani civilians. Sleepy Joe threw a tantrum and refused to talk to Imran Khan. Ironically, and deliciously, both KSA and UAE refused to take Sleepy Joe's phone call to increase oil production to balance out the Russian sanctions.

Khan's Russia visit itself was irrelevant. The missing piece of the plan that fell in place was the Pakistani establishment giving the green light to the American plan.

Interesting track today US registered Gulf Stream out of Mumbai to UAE...

Muslims became as weak as the Hindus after a few centuries of living in a mild climate

It's an interesting theory of yours that mild climate makes people weak. Historically, it seems, all the great empires of the ancient world started in temperate climates.

Well it is too early to tell. Geopolitics is a strange beast.

Since Bangladesh is surrounded by India and has strong trade connections, they may not overtly (officially) say anything. There may be things happening under the covers however.

Overt official statements will come from our Foreign Minister. Who has been vocal against India on a lot of topics - more so recently.

No one Bangladeshi can control the official narrative - especially if they are non-Muslim (going by the topic at hand).

Not all non-Muslim Bangladeshis are India-supporters, but some definitely are (co-religionist sentiment). These minorities will not represent what the majority of Bangladeshis think of Indian Govt. actions at this time, which will unfortunately be very negative.

Officially, Bangladesh will follow a policy of appeasement and of course silent diplomacy with selective neighbors.

Why there are no news on protest by the Bangladeshis. Usually protest happen even for small things. Or the news has been censored in fear of anti government demonstration by hijacking the issue?

Look at the new thread where Mullahs are protesting...

Hujurera Kheipa gesey....

Problem and fact India and pak both are failed states due to extremism in religion they follow which is against the principal of both religions we never were and are humans we don't have minds to think wrong and right

Yes definitely they should ban indian products forever they deserve it

ME countries expelling Hindu Indians after boycotting consumer goods.

I saw this coming as soon as the anti-Muslim excesses started in India and Modi stayed silent, approving these drama/theatrics. Bunch of gandoos.

Ab tera keya ho ga re Kaliya?

Samhalo apna ghar...

Eibar thela shamla....

India's MEA Gadhas are still showing some cheek, slamming the OIC, when they should be "handling the issue delicately".

India will be the only loser in this row - SMH....not shedding any tears for Modi....

That’s published in Pakistani news not in Bangladeshi news! That’s what I mentioned why Bangladeshi media is quiet on local demonstration.

They are welcome to boycott whatever they want but i am still trying to undersrand what was insulting in talking about Prophets marriage and his travel to 7 heavens. It is right out of Sahi Hadees. Are all the countries and people protesting saying that Sahi Hadees has some facts which are wrong and insulting to Prophet Mohammad?

Lets take a look. Assuming ALL of India's consumer goods are boycotted by A-rabs.

UAE:
Boycottable ones :
Electrical, electronic equipment : 1620 Millions
Articles of apparel, knit or crocheted : 900Million
Articles of apparel, not knit or crocheted : 625 million
Cereals : 420 million
Edible fruits, nuts, peel of citrus fruit, melons: 220 million
Other made textile articles, sets, worn clothing: 200 million
Coffee, tea, mate and spices : 200 million
Essential oils, perfumes, cosmetics, toileteries : 125 million
Beverages, spirits and vinegar : 75 million
Carpets and other textile floor coverings: 40 million
Special woven or tufted fabric, lace, tapestry: 40 million
Oil seed, oleagic fruits, grain, seed, fruits : 35 million

> 5 billion.

Rest are all capital good or items not typically branded.

Saudi Arabia :
Biggest item is cereals. 1.1 billion dollars. Rest are too small.
Lets make it 2 billion dollars.

Kuwait
Biggest is again cereals : 150 million

lets make it 300 million

Qatar:

Cereal 140 million. Lets make it 300 million again

Oman

Cereal 140 million (rest very small)

Lets make it 300 million too.

Brunei
Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers : 1.7 million

Lets make it 5 million total

Total worth of this boycott is less than 8 billion dollars.

Good luck.

Here is what India can do. It does not need to respond to all GCCs. Just one single : Qatar, the most evil of all of them.

Stop buying Qatar oil totally on the pretext of them giving shelter of MF Hussain, replace it with Russia or Nigerian oil or if it comes to it Valenzuela oil.
Thats 10 billion gone from Qatar's exports.
It will put Qatar back in its place.

The funny thing is that pork (mostly in ctg division), alcohol, prostitution and all other haram things are legal and also common among bangladeshis
Alcohol is consumed in Bangladesh by muslims that is true but pork is not. Its by tribal people so that is a different aspect.

But what I found living in west is pakistani and turkish people consume a lot of alcohol. They speak about religion but at tge same time consume a lot of alcohol in their social gatherings. It is not common in Bangladeshi community as its not only for religious reason but also socially drinking is look down upon. Even secular Bangladeshis would not flaunt their drinking.

Just wanted to ask a pakistani brother, is it common in pakistan to drink in friends gatheeing to drink? How it is looked at socially?

Do not want to steriotype, but want to share a story of my friend, he was shopping with a grocery and his pakistani friend told him dont buy this meat as it may is not halal slaughter, so he sid not but on the way out he said he has to stop on the booze shop. It was really something funny he shared.

I am a practicing Muslim. I never drink alcohol.

I have yet to see a Pakistani Muslim drink alcohol.

That's quiet normal, even in Tunisia people that drink alcohol will never eat pork.

If you do one sin, doesn't mean that you have to do them all 😁

No one answered my genuine question - is it an insult to quote facts about rasool stated in Quran and Ahlay-Hadees/Hadeeth??
