At approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the FAA confirmed that a Cessna and F-16 just collided in mid-air approximately 11 miles north of Charleston, South Carolina. The Cessna is being identified as a 150, a small propeller driven aircraft that seats a maximum of two occupants.

Berkeley County spokesman Michael Mule confirmed to USA TODAY there was a crash in Lewisfield Plantation in Moncks Corner.
There were toxic fumes at the crash site and the F-16 pilot was ejected, according to a reporter for Live 5 News WCSC in Charleston. That reporter also said the fuselage, the body of the Cessna, had been located and a rescue swimmer had been sent in.
