Michael Jai White -- I Can Beat Bruce Lee

He probably can, weight and size matters a lot! I saw a video a Mike Tyson saying if Bruce lee
could beat him one on one it would be a very interesting world. Sadly it’s not all movies sir that’s why they have weight classes in fighting sports!

I’ve seen wirey skinny guys beat up muscle heads on numerous occasions.

Problem is Bruce Lee isn't alive to respond. Now anyone can act tough and get away without it.
Having said that I do appreciate Michael Jai White fighting skills, in the movie that is.

Correct sir, that happens mainly due to the lack of relevant skill AND will involved. Do you believe Mike Tyson in his prime would lose to Bruce lee in his prime? Still, to play the devils advocate, the only event I think of which involves a “David vs Goliath” situation in the modern world of boxing is Ali vs Liston, Ali was the severe underdog at the time before the fight even got knocked out by a relatively unknown boxer (not lost though). Liston on the other hand was a behemoth and a very imposing terrifying figure, certain boxing legends have said that he punched harder than even George foreman and the same experts have mentioned that foreman punched harder than Tyson. The one factor nobody thought of was that Ali was a anomaly and unicorn in the boxing sense, as no heavyweight was as fast as him and haven’t see anybody even today “be like Ali” in that sense. Supernatural speed with a iron chin…wait the more relevant statement would be he floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee!

Very well put. Many people forget that Mike Tyson fought a lot of the guys who weren't top class boxers, knocking them out in early rounds. While respecting Tyson's ability to punch, an aging foreman challenged him numerous times but Don King refused for this fight to happen. Foreman back in the 70s was not a force to but reckoned with. An aging Ali with slower reflexes took all those body shots for 7 8 rounds. In some fighters, brains matter more than what the body can do hence they are considered as the art of their sport. Aka Bruce Lee.
