It seems you are correct. R-27 ET appears to have no data link. Anyway, you are the expert. I'm the amateur. Don't expect me to know everything like you do.

AIM-9 is shorter ranged missile. Don't have R-27 ET's longer range.

I posted to prove that IR missiles have data link capability too.
