In Iran democracy is simply not an option. Our country has so much hydrocarbon resources that every Western country would want to have at least one party in its pocket. Until we can take the fight to their front yards, we will not be able to have a functioning democracy. For now, a dictatorship is the only environment where an independent Iranian govt/regime can operate in.
Demanding democracy is one thing, being able to achieve it is something else.We Iranians don't agree with American kind of democracy being enforced on us.Whenever we want another government/regime we will change it and we can,no one can stand people's will.Completely nonsens. Of course democracy is an option. Most people want more influence on Iran's policy and they are right to demand that. Now you have a dictatorship and mullah theocracy is ruling over Iran, one of the most backward ideologies you can find in the world. Democracy and secularism would mean more devolopment to the country. Instead of the biggest brain drain in the world, no freedom and a terrible economy. This regime is doomed to fail. Most people just puke on this regime.

Nonsense. Most Iranians look up to the US when it comes on freedom or democracy. This regime will eventually fail.
Dear Surenas considering some of your racism supporting posts about minorities in Iran, make it hard to me to accept your comments about freedom or democracy. To be honest for me it sounds like this:

You don't represent all Iranians.Nonsense. Most Iranians look up to the US when it comes on freedom or democracy. This regime will eventually fail.
You don't represent all Iranians.
US may be a democratic state for its people, but for other countries and how it treats them(especially the ones opposing her) it's a facist dictator state. It dictates its policy on other countries. We don't look to such a country as an ideal.
without the sanctions, the economy would be prosperous. And that's exactly why I'm saying democracy won't work. The second they don't agree with our choices, they will either try regime change or simply destroy the fabric of the nation (1954 comes to mind). At least now they can only hurt us through sanctions.Completely nonsens. Of course democracy is an option. Most people want more influence on Iran's policy and they are right to demand that. what a disguting creature you're man. How many hours in total have you spent in Iran?Neither you speak on behalve of the Iranians. But the US is the most loved country in Iran, so you can cry me a river.

Don't blame the mullahs for the sanctions. You exiles are biased to the core. You're against the regime so you're willing to say anything that serves your agenda. Grow some balls and defend your nation so we can grow stronger and break the chains that are put on us. When that happens, democracy will come too.
Without independence, there cannot be democracy. It simply isn't possible.

Iranians are very open people (compared to the ME and the subcontinent). We're liberal minded and for those of us that aren't religious, we sometimes agree with Western values. That doesn't mean we like the US!!! How could you say those things knowing full well the amounto of damage done to Iran by the US? What's next, Iranians loving the Brits?
Dude you're sad old exile without a home.
A Pakistani sitting on his wide asss in Canada telling right from wrong about Iran to Iranians.Leave it to Abii to post something stupid. Of course I understand it, why else will I upload it? I understand and can speak Farsi.
I will not comment further, because I want to hear what Iranians have to say.
