Guys, what the **** are you talking about? 220million people, why they are not paying taxes because no one comes after them . try this in a western country. There should be proper systems in place along with legal proceedings against people who don't pay tax. Its not about elite not paying taxes. for **** sake, how much elite is there?

Wow. So much ignorance. Foreign pakistanis have literally no idea about the ground realities here.

The most basic salary is 12-15K
With 5-8 years experience is 35-50K
Only people with 10+ Years experience have 80-100K

It's true, most of us who don't live there have a skewed view of things. When I go home the economy local to us is skewed with loads of expat money and money from overseas workers, so it's hard to tell.

I understand day labourers don't earn enough to pay tax and maybe people in junior roles - but whats 10+ years of experience working? it goes by in the flash of an eye. idk how many people earn that much - truth is without proper economic survey nobody knows. I suspect most people on PDF earn more than that.
