The issue is not about whether you care at a personal level. The message has gone out. You guys (muslims) are super touchy. You can and are handled pretty easily at national levels in conventional hostilities. But the world is learning of the risk and chances of lone wolf attacks. A nuclear power status does not help the common folk of that country from your loony tunes with bomb jackets and chuddies or easy supply of uncle Kalashnikov's finest.

So your loonies have succeeded in seeding fear. But with every seed of fear there are a few more of hate and distrust. That is the fruit you will have to eat, the crop you will have to harvest.

Selective vilification of an entire religion by these Indians is mind boggling. The thread title and the news itself include both the Muslims and the Jews yet certain members continue to sling mud on Isalm as if the West really cares about Muslim's emotions. I was going to condemn this decision of the Oxford Press for I as a Pakistani and a Muslim see no harm in the mention of pork or whatever in the books. However, after seeing the rabid response of Indians, I wonder if I should do that.

Wrong. It's not the Pakistanis here who know it. EVERYONE in the world knows it. It is clear as anything. The timing is crucial. It is purely done out of fear. The Jew element is put in just to give it a plausible deniability. Like we sugar coat stuff in India.

Plenty of 'they deserved it', 'best not to offend' etc are seen. I don't mind them. Having grown up in the Valley, this comes as no surprise to me. The rest of the non Muslim world will take some time to this.
