I was fined once for unknowingly travelling in a women's compartment in Mumbai local train

I made such 2 mistakes within a month after arriving Mumbai. First time I went on first class with general ticket and second time in Ladies coach. Both the time it was not rush hour (around 12-2 pm) and hence I did not notice anything unusual when one girl sitting next to me told the rules. Then I had to get down on next station and board again. people were looking me with you-know-how eyes.

I hate when girls talk to walk with men by shoulder to shoulder and then demand 33% reservation and special seats in Buses, then special Coaches in train. Grrrrr

it have changed a lot, some ppl do it by mistake. no one want to get humiliated in front of womens.

If women can travel in men's coaches, why cant men travel in women's coaches? And they talk of women's emancipation! Jeeez!

Because It is not Men's coach, at least in mumbai it is called general coach and anyone can travel in those coach..

Until Indian men learn to treat their women folk with dignity, this type of 'equality mixed with reservation' is bound to continue...and you are talking about Delhi..the rape capital of India.

Women are not so innocent either they do this grinding on unsuspecting boys as well ...especially the married ones are the culprits

Hey there was a case of a frog swallowing a snake...but 99.9999% of the time its the other way around. Isolated cases doesn't matter.

How typical! If you dont recognize the problem, there is slim chance of the situation improving.

I'd say at least limit the groping and molesting to local women and leave the tourists alone.

Nice suggestion... Painting the coaches in Pink will go a long way..

I have noticed in Kolkata that in the same coach, one section is reserved for Women n one for men.
This is working just fine there eevn though the crowd is too much.
