yaar theres nothing new bout it..its a copy of Russian BM-21 grad MBRL...the system is copied and manufactured in many countries under a local name and the most widely used MBRLs in the world...The Indian army has a big arsenal of BM-21 grads and is replacing its original Russian grads with Pinaka and smerch MBRLs both of which have long range and upgraded rockets and excellent accuracy..:cheers::cheers:

Refurbishment/Range Enhancement of 122 mm MBRL Ammunition

Advance technology made it possible to refurbish and enhance the range of 122mm MBRL rockets up to 45 Km as compared to its original range of 20 Km.
Refurbished extended range version of the rocket has also undergone various design improvements which guaranties reliability and greater safety during operation.

First of all PA has Krl ans A 100 MPRLS

KRL has very limited range and it is not accurate either A 100 is said to be very accurate and has range more than 80 to 100 km
