Meaty rise seen in country’s Halal exports

Carabeef is Water Buffalo meat. Beef is Cow meat. Although carabeef is similar to beef but it is considered to be lower quality and sell at half the price of regular beef. In Pakistan, it sells at nearly same price. India does not export beef due to reverence of cows. India is the biggest exporter of carabeef at $5 billion last year.
I understand.
Though if Carabeef is considered to be of lower quality and sells at half the price of regular beef, why does it sell at nearly the same price in Pakistan?

My bad I didn't elaborate. In Johannesburg South Africa I saw some local vendors selling halal meat but couldn't find much in super markets like Pick n Pay or Woolworths (?). Same for Namibia.

My comment about Sadia was mainly about West African countries like Rawanda, Congo (K &B) and Eastern ones like Kenya.
In SA the super markets do stock halal meat but in some places only...but in SA nobody buys halal meat from super markets...we buy it from halal butcheries or we slaughter it ourselves. Does Sadia sell normal meat as well ? I mean apart from their processed goods. Btw do you live in Africa ?

Yea my friends told me that there are some shops in JNB where you can find quality meat. And 5 Rand roti :)
I hop around Africa from country to country :)

Nice so which is your favorite country so far ?

Namibia, hands down. You are in SA so let me put it this way; Namibia is SA without the crime :)
Beautiful, peaceful, relaxed.

I have never been to Namibia even though I live not very far from it...how is the infrastructure and healthcare situation there ?

Firstly, Europeans and Americans consider their beef product of high quality and discount the competition from Carabeef. They control the international meat market and quote the carabeef at half the price of beef. The make sure that people know that carabeef is from older animals. While their beef is raised for meat only.

Secondly, In Pakistan not too many people can really tell the difference between carabeef and beef.So carabeef is sold as beef.

lest the people do something on their own without asking for govt support.
Things become easier when government facilitates in matters of import export. Constant raise in revenue every year is an indicator that people are taking interest and trying. But the raise can increase much more if they get government support.

govt can only support in setting up trade agreement with foreign govt, looking at the capability of our politician this is hardly unlikely. Bhanjey bhatejey working in the commerce ministry instead of technical people. People of Pakistan will have to work on their own, 50 years and they havent learned it yet still asking for same ghissa pitta demands.

Its a calm peaceful place. Infrastructure and healthcare are more or less same as SA, at least in Windhoek. But if you are thinking about moving, I am sure you would like to visit for a few days before you make any decision :)
