true, they didnt even release the name of that famous mastermind for last two years but after killing him they found out he was the one.

You dont bomb masterminds and group leaders. Killing big ticket items are never on the forces to do list. Bombing is done when groups of terrorists are massing OR hardened static defense lines which are difficult to engage by troops.

The Rangers and police have claimed to have killed the mastermind of Kamra Airbase attack, Geo News reported on Friday.

A Rangers spokesman said that the accused was affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and was killed in a raid jointly conducted by the paramilitary force and the police in Musharraf Colony area.

The spokesman said that a Kalashnikov and a hand grenade were also recovered from the possession of the suspect.
