Mastermind of Kamra airbase attack killed in Karachi

The Rangers and police have claimed to have killed the mastermind of Kamra Airbase attack, Geo News reported on Friday.

A Rangers spokesman said that the accused was affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and was killed in a raid jointly conducted by the paramilitary force and the police in Musharraf Colony area.

The spokesman said that a Kalashnikov and a hand grenade were also recovered from the possession of the suspect.

The operation in Karachi has become militant centric altogether....before it was more against "target killers" and various gangs but the strategic level has decided to target militants specifically in conjunction with the main army operation going on in NWA.

I don't think so that the adjective was necessary.

Anyways militants and terrorists were not exclusively target killers...assassins for hire. In Karachi majority of them were free lancers or gang affiliates who were killing on demand...killing anyone if the price was right.
