Two gunned down in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: At least two persons were killed and eight injured during firing inflicted by argument amid sporting in between two rival groups in Tarnol area of federal capital Islamabad on Friday, Geo news reported.

According to police sources, two cricket teams were playing cricket when players had stiff arguments, which soon turned into scuffle and as a result, two persons were killed in exchange of firing and another 8 were injured.

Police said they have transferred bodied and injured people to PIMS hospital but others involved in fighting succeeded to flee while case, against unknown culprits, have been registered and investigation was underway
