If I am not mistaken reading a blog about him, most of his inspiration came from first person shooter games such as medal of honor, battlefield etc and now he is demanding more of such games. Administering more drugs to an addict is hardly a punishment, maybe heaven for him.

Actually I agree with Anders Breivik. After all what good is socialism and humanitarianism in Norway if they cannot even provide latest playstations to its inmates. This is gross violation of human rights. I am going to skip my breakfast today in solidarity with Breivik.

I just didn't know what to make of this news, or even why this news is out. This little news attempts to establish the claim that he is a nutcase, not a terrorist as evidenced in his bizarre demands.

I do think he is criminally insane.

I also think if this was a Muslim guy Norway would probably vote to make one time change in constitution with sunset clause to lock him up for life or give him the death sentence which would be more suitable given the carnage..

Whinging mass murderer Anders Breivik has threatened to go on hunger strike unless prison authorities cave in to a list of demands for better conditions - including giving him a PlayStation 3.

The right-wing extremist - who killed 77 people in a bomb and gun attack on July 22, 2011 - insisted he needed a better console and video games to alleviate his 'torture'-like living conditions.

It emerged today that he issued a typed list of 12 demands to authorities at the high-security unit in Skien in southeast Norway where he serving out a 21-year sentence.

The demands - outlined in a letter sent to the the French national newsagency AFP today - included better conditions for his daily walk and the right to communicate more freely with the outside world, which he argues are in line with European rights legislation.

He also demanded that his PlayStation 2 games console be upgraded to a Playstation 3 'with access to more adult games that I get to choose myself'.

Held apart from other prisoners since 2011 for security reasons, Breivik argued in the letter sent in November, last year, that he has the right to a wider 'selection of activities' than other inmates to compensate for his strict isolation.

Breivik also wants his standard weekly allowance of 300 kroner ($49, 36 euros) to be doubled, particularly to cover his postal charges from written correspondence.

Other demands include an end to daily physical searches, and access to a PC rather than to a 'worthless typewriter with technology dating back to 1873'.

In the letter dated January 29 he said that since there has not been any real improvement in his prison conditions, a hunger strike would be 'one of the only' options at his disposal.

aww, the guy can't handle being in jail. it's the best advertisement for abolishment of the deathpenalty i've seen in quite a while!

In Sweden, or to some extend Scandinavian country, we have tough law, but we do not have tough time.

In Sweden, rape law is ultra strict, our safe sex law require male to have condom if the female insisted, if the male have sex without a condom while the female asked, that's statuary rape and you would be in jail for 7 years

However, our hard time is not hard at all, we Scandinavian think taking away one freedom is the biggest punishment of all and we require to treat convict in a humane manner

In Sweden, after you serve your sentence, and remain twice as long without reoffending, you can ask the court to strike your criminal record

To kill a man you will get 7 years, and then after this 7 years, and another 14 years without killing anyone, you are no longer a convict and you can start fresh, mind you, our life imprisonment have a 30 years maximum term.
