Mass movement on religious lines leads to ghettoization in West UP

what you quoted is the repercussion of nuzaffarnagar riots but kirana was quite during those days. How would you explain sudden exodus of hindus from there now?
Just because it was quite, do you intend to say that there wouldn't have been tensions in there. BJP does it for electoral benefits and normal people suffer from it... There has been exodus on both sides, not a one sided affair as stated in the OP

.
UP Muslims.

The seeds of Pakistan was planted here, the call was strongest among the UP elites. The land of Dar ul Ulm, Deoband etc. The Nawabs, the destroyed temples, the destroyed ghats at Varanasi (rebuilt by Marathas), the land of Jat akhadas and Hindu Sena etc...

I can't remember but someone said - "Pakistan is an idea. Not a nation." It exists strongly in UP. Only now the Hindus are getting united cutting across caste lines - a first in UP.

Kairana is a known place. The local imam had stated last Friday that since in Muzaffarnagar and other places Muslims could not be protected by Hindus, local Hindus should pay jizya to live in their homes.

For the rest of your ramblings.. well :lazy:

I hope the place is cleansed of troublemakers. The state should be divided and a certain part of the population should be allowed to correct their past mistake of a previous generation.

but the OP talks about Muslims families moving out in 2013 right after the riot not in the last year.

And the usual secular brigade will whine once the retaliation hit them in the face.

Mate!! Yours is the only meaningful post I came across in this entire thread. According to my info this entire fiasco is a doing of the Akhilesh govt. The BJP is also trying to warm their hands but surely this is a political gimmick before the UP elections.

Well the same OP also states the following...

"Sunil Kumar Jain lost his sprawling house in Muzaffarnagar soon after the 2013 riots. "We used to live in Khalapar locality of Muzaffarnagar. It was a Muslim-dominated area. We had to move out of the area due to fear."

Even NDTV is reporting this now ...

Apparently this Shamli district has seen a regular and continuous Hindu exodus over the years. If this continues, the BJP MLA is sure to lose. With 8% Hindus left in Kairana, how can he even think about winning?

Thanks mate.

Most probably.

But here, this polarization has gone to a limit where BJP can suffer in Shamli district. It probably now has a Muslim majority. Political parties are like hoes... better to defend oneself without them. If they lend a helping hand, all the better. But no such expectations should be kept by Dharmics.

In riot both side suffers and you are giving an example of one family? heck some 30+ folks were killed before the jats retaliated in muzaffarnagar.

"... a group of 2,000 villagers returning home after attending the Mahapanchayat hosted by several Jat communities of western Uttar Pradesh in nearby Kawal village, when they were ambushed by a mob, armed with assault rifles and other sophisticated weapons."

"The district administration has registered 40 missing complaints till Wednesday."

It just says missing? From when did missing complaints turned into death count?
