Mashiur defends transit to India

The fact is BD ians are not realising the importance of transit... I do not want even a free transit according to 1969 agreement..
A fair amount passed is ok...

.
What makes u think that we will give u acces to 7 sister states if u donot give us transit to those states??
As ur minister already stated ur manufacturers have advantage of geography n time so why r u scared of competition?? R u guys also developing the habit of ur lost brother of asking every thing for free??

Lastly 65 years we have managed without bd help we can manage without yours even further till eternity.. Now u ppl think whether u ppl can survive with out our helps and most importantly our EMEMITY ,it won't take the next GOI to cancel the water sharing agreements and water n air passages to u ppl.
The state ministers of those areas are constantly requesting for Bangladeshi investment there, they are also blaming Indian central govt. because of their reluctant behavior over the water issue with BD which ultimately delaying the transit process.Yes we can't survive without your onions, garlics, pulses, cows etc. until we materialize the farming contracts in Africa and even in Burma.

.
those parts of india very impoverished compared to the rest which in turns helps the separatists gain support for their movement india needs transit more then ever before

and it also surprising how very prominent academics like dr rivizi who is holding a very key position is being partisan against his own government

All North Eastern states have higher HDI than Bangladesh.

They are only interested in Transit, not in Bangladeshi investment.

You guys are expecting too much from Africa.

Then i wonder who are those guys who are requesting FBCCI to invest in NE states.
We will get only 50% of the total harvests and rest will be given to African or the host countries. Are we expecting too much??

. .
Indeed. He and Gowher Rizvi top the list. They both has so far given a bad name to the present government and are the main master mind behind taking all the destructive policy under present government. Interesting thing is that the duo is holder of foreign passport but still occupying adviser position which is equivalent to minister position. This is absurd considering any government official can not do it without notifying government and even can not travel to other country without government permission.

They are Otithi Pakhi for 5-year bal term. None of these advisers will be seen right after this term finishes.

So, if your companies invest there who gonna benefit out of it.

Isn't that be too much expensive deal for Bangladesh.

Improve economic ties and connectivity with China and ASEAN countries. You will not need Bangladesh. (BTW, why should we allow transit of Bangladeshi water through our territory. They should collect it directly from the Himalaya beyond Indian territory :D). Already Kaladaan river project to connect north east with IO via Myanmar is .on way

. .
We didn't bring in a stooge dalal govt for shits and giggles.

Transit IS coming.
Hmm,for that the water issue should be solved first. If not then next BNP govt. will stop the transit right away, not sure about this govt. though.

Under Inland Water Protocol india has been using rivers of Bangladesh to transport goods to NE states since 1972. Do you have any sort of shame let alone gratefulness which you don't have? My view is until we start killing bsf beasts like d$gs mercilessly without any reason and destroy all dams on common naturally flown rivers all such deals have to be banned...you got that shameless indian?

.
the bnp wont either they are stooges too, we need people like dr yunus at the helm who doesn't bow down to indian pressure..
There are some hardcore nationalistic persons in BNP high command unlike BAL,who are quite influential as well.

So, if your companies invest there who gonna benefit out of it.

Well,i'd be happy if the local people of those areas get some benefits out of the investments. And its not like the companies are investing there overlooking our own interest.
For a country which has a consumer base of some 150 million with some 40 million mid-income population,i don't think this kind of deals should be expensive for Bangladesh. On top of that there are several private companies already lining up for this venture, they are waiting for green signal of the govt.
