Can you please quote the law, or article of the constitution, that explicitly states this?
I think that people here are somewhat mistaken. Maryam Tweetni, currently, is not convict; since the conviction, given by the NAB court was suspended by IHC and this decision was upheld by SCOP. This condition will prevail, till the appeal of that case is decided, by IHC.
But there are many other laws, which strictly prohibit maligning judiciary and armed forces of Pakistan, in public. I think that the owners of the channels stop such interviews and press briefings, in view of these laws and the consequences. It has nothing to do with her so called conviction.
