Pakistan State media. India's State media is Doordarshan TV. You should watch it some time if you can keep your eyes open and not fall asleep in 5 minutes.
Its staid govt coverage of phalana MP visiting this and then visiting that and cutting ribbons and making a 3 hr speech which is covered in full.
There is little time for any kind of news fake or otherwise.

The independent stations , hundreds of them, are ad filled rollercoaster ride involved in "breaking" news "important developments" as they try to outdo each other with endless string of outrageous stories.
The game is to retain eyeballs so as to keep the ad revenue flowing.
Like the shock-jock stations in the USA

I mean ..as a overseas pakistani i had a realization..my brother was happy with 1000$ transfer as against 1500$ transfer...

In 2018 when rupee fell from 70% and that was the best year i had.

This wouldnt have been possible without my leader nawaz sharif

Now IK limiting imports means dollar may not go up and things are pretty hard for imports

But i hopefull on IK too. He may open flood gates too.

What do i want..? I want cheap imports(especially cheese), a low rupee dollar value (so i can pay less for my maid), good cities infra structure in lahore /islamabad ..and good amount of corruption so i can pay off the police and judges..

This is only possible under my leader

Well they care abit about debt, and sustainability and didnt want to over do it in 2012 (refused to sign all these expensive power deals) so no i dont like them

It’s the job of the state TV to peddle the government’s line. Be it real news or fake. On the latter, these days journos say that it mostly comes out of the capital itself.

The Capital is a journalistic paradox, the government accuses journos of fake news, journos accuse the government of fake news. So both accusation and source is the same city. Journos subsequent dharna is ongoing in the same city. And this city, widely accepted as the safest in Pakistan is also the one that has had the most attacks on journalists lately. It would be like rebel HQ built openly within the deathstar, to put it in Star Wars terms.
