Mars Rover stranded in the remote crater C area

“Where there’s oxygen there’s a Malayali” is a popular saying in the southern state of Kerala. For years NASA was aware of small oxygen content in the Martian atmosphere but refused to make the Malayali connection. Finally Sr NASA scientist Dr. Biju Pillai took the lead to reach out to the Mallu community and established contacts with the Malayali association in the Crater C area. After a making a few calls to his hometown in Ernakunam district Mr Pillai finally got his breakthrough when he established a contact with “Sabrimala Tire Services” in the remote Crater C area.

The owner and servicemen “Shibin Kutty” initially refused to travel the 3 miles to the site where the Rover was stranded. He finally agreed only after NASA assured that would arrange for a free lunch of Kanji,

Poduthul and a fresh supply of Moru. Shipments would be delivered in the next Martian expedition scheduled for 2017.

No one really knows how the Malayali’s reached Mars but popular theorists believed that they were originally transferred to the planet by ancient aliens to assist in their construction projects and to provide nanny and teacher services.
