Mark Zuckerberg is NOT Donating his Shares to Charity

Instead of giving charity it would be better off if this money is used to create employment which in turn creates purchasing power and permanent economic revival..charity is useless...it is money spent once and gone...

By doing this so he will not pay taxes as the money will be put in LCC ( free tax but some how it can also be used for investment) similar move taken by Bill Gates.

Fix me if I am wrong.

One of the major headlines in the social media world was the birth of Mark Zuckerberg’s and his wife, Priscilla Chan’s daughter on Tuesday. While that was an incredibly awesome news, another news started to make waves, that Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, would donate 99% of his Facebook stock to charity. That comes to a total of an estimated $45 billion, and no, that’s not all going to charity.

Reportedly, the money will be going to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, an organization that is structured as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and not as a nonprofit organization. A Facebook spokesperson was also able to confirm that the company was indeed an LLC. The mission of that particular organization is, “advancing human potential and promoting equality.” Now, while the initiative will be able to donate certain amount of money to nonprofit organizations, it will also be able to invest money in private companies. If those investments were to make any profits, according to Facebook, they will be used to fund additional work for the advancement of the initiative’s mission. It will be Mr. and Mrs. Zuckerberg who will choose where the money will go. Based on reports, the primary focus will be personalized learning, connecting people, curing disease and building strong communities.

Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan while introducing the organization said,

We need to make sure that there are investments in programs that ensure that the future isn’t going to be like today. The future is going to be better than today.

As far as Zuckerberg’s reason regarding why the couple decided to start giving away their money is concerned, he said in a response to The New York Times’ Vindu Goel,

First is that we have a lot to learn and giving, like anything else, takes practice to do effectively. So if we want to be good at it in 10-15 years, we should start now. Second is that any good we do will hopefully compound over time. If we can help children get a better education now then they can grow up and help others too in the time we might have otherwise waited to get started.

Didnt I say a Jew is too smart to give away Money?? Zukerberg is simply setting up to launder few billions..

Earlier this week, Mark Zuckerberg made the surprise announcement that he, along with his wife Priscilla Chan, would be donating 99 percent of their Facebook shares — worth around $45 billion — to the causes of "advancing human potential" and "promoting equality." The gesture appeared altruistic, but some have criticized the way Zuckerberg is using the money, giving it to a limited liability company rather than a charitable foundation. Now Zuckerberg has responded to those complaints, posting another message that attempts to explain why he set up the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and what he and his wife want to do with the money.

"The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is structured as an LLC rather than a traditional foundation," he writes. "This enables us to pursue our mission by funding non-profit organizations, making private investments and participating in policy debates." Unlike limited liability companies, charitable foundations are restricted from investing in for-profit businesses and cannot engage in political lobbying, activities that the Facebook founder said the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was designed to do in order to further the development of humanity.
