Guys arms cannot solve this problem permanently... The only way to solve the problem is by developing the life standard of those people, they are not separatists, they are poor people.. Our govt now introduced many schemes for development in the Maoist areas...

We have to eliminate the source instead of eliminating the problem.. soon it will happen..

What schemes have GoI introduced? What will happen soon?

the fact remains that there is no long-term strategy to deal with the Maoist problem. It is regrettable that every time we move a step forward we are forced to take a step back. The biggest challenge we need to overcome is the internal politics in the ruling party (Congress) on the Naxal menace.

I think I have seen no less than Manmohan Singh calling the 'Naxalites' as the single biggest threat to India.
I don't know.

Yeah they are .

But this problem could be dealt very soon if Military comes in .
Only Paramilitary forces are fighting with them .

Naxalism arised coz of lesser development in those areas.
If this issues are taken care of Naxals will end automatically

The BIGGEST hurdle to solve the Naxal problem is internal politics of the ruling party Congress!

I don't know.

I think that was a little bit of exaggeration from his part. Maoists are confined to the jungles in central India and their foot soldiers are mostly tribals. Outside this zone there is little or no influence for them, even the mainstram communist parties shun them. Sadly India's mineral resources are located inside the Naxalite territory and if GoI wants India to progress there is no other way than to meet the Naxalites head on.

The only reason that Maoists made thus far is due to the fact they exploit state differences to their advantage. State borders and the ineffectiveness of the security agencies of individual states to work together gives the Maoists a clear advantage, which they fully exploit. About time they even talk of te issue bloody morons...it rally shows that our gov't wasn't doing . Ramadev and Anna Hazare for Anti Corruption govt'
