Many killed in Russian air strikes on Syria's Douma

Relating to Turkey and Saudi Arabia? What exactly is that genius?

How does us supporting Yazidis and Peshmerga help Turkey, genius?

Turkey is obsessed about the Kurds and preventing US from sending more aid and support to them so that they can fight ISIS. The aid being sent is paltry, it could and should be much much more, because they are the single largest ground force actually fighting ISIS.

Even the current aid levels are causing a lot of tensions with Turkey.

What makes you think we are not helping the kurds. Turkey can summon anyone, who cares- that does not make us pay attention to them. How does Russians bombing a marketplace make them so much tougher than us?

Did you know that russians are using their older obsolete dumb bombs, many ineffective, mostly to save on costs?

Reread my post. I am not denying that some aid is being sent to specific Kurdish groups, but it is nowhere near the carte blanche support that the Taliban got against the Soviets, for example.

Russia has chosen a clear side while America is sort of stuck on an impasse. Obama doesn't want Assad in power, but he doesn't want ISIS to take over either making the situation difficult for him. So he is limiting intervention to precision air-strikes against top ISIS officials. He also can't seem to convince Arab leaders to form an actual ground-based coalition to fight ISIS either.

Everyone knows Russia is using dumb bombs. They have the largest surplus of outdated weaponry in the world dating back to the Cold War. They did the same in Chechnya and Georgia. They claim that their fighter jets are capable of guiding the bombs properly, but who knows. The important thing is that they can actually coordinate with the Syrian Army ground forces so that they can bomb an area and then let Assad regain control over a territory. This is something that deep air-strikes from US cannot do. No amount of airstrikes are going to retake Mosul without ground forces.

This is your analysis:

1. Russians are putting the pressure on the U.S by bombing a market place, and killing children and civilians

2. Russians win international brownie points for bombing a marketplace

3. By bombing a marketplace killing women and children, they look proactive, and it's a thumb in our eyes?

Dude! you mind is a beautiful thing. :suicide2:
Do you read the shit that you post?
