Many houses torched in Rangamati

This man is a Christian and is the Vice President of Myanmar. His name his Henry Van thio and he is a pride of Myanmar. Those of who says that minorities are persecuted in Myanmar clearly dont have any idea about the country. However muslims are treated differently than hindus and christians in Myanmar. To be honest Hindus and Christians are not troublemakers and are the allys of the Buddhist government of Myanmar. So hindus and christians as minorities have all rights as citizens and can hold important government positions. However Islam is antagonistic to the Buddhist religion and Buddhists in muslim countries face discrimination. So putting those into context i think muslims cannot hold any government posts or have few rights in Myanmar.

Why Myanmar kicked out black looking hindus in 1960s?

Myanmar does not hate indians. What happened in the 1960s was a illegal immigrant issue similar to the rohingya muslim problem. However hindus have no problem in Myanmar and they have some of the most beautiful temples in asia. However muslims are a problem in Myanmar, even the Buddhist monks dont like muslims. You will have difficulties enlisting yourself in the army, in the government jobs or anywhere if you are a muslim.

How that was illegal migrant issue when those hindus were living there for centuries?

On the one hand - Indian Home Minister demands (not requests, demands) that Bangladesh not harbor or support anti-India elements (demanding trust),

On the other hand, this same Sanghi nincompoop makes plans for distrustful acts like border fencing/outposts and covert plans and activities such as training and arming separatist Chakma hoodlums.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal addressing the media after a meeting on Indo-Bangla border

I think it is better to have enemies than friends like India.

These are armed hoodlums doing sneak attacks and being slaughtered like cockroaches and rats. Border Guard is sufficient for them.

So --- 'Bangladesh army ... facing a defeat'....

Riiiight. :coffee:
What is the percentage of Buddhist citizens of Bangladesh?

Hindus are not full citizen of Myanmar and are severely discriminated. Their sons and daughter have to apply for citizenship after they reach 18. Their citizenship can be revoked according to the wish of government.
Rohingya will not accept this $hit, even at the cost of genocide. Rohingya Muslims are very proud nation, not like hindus or buddhist.

Listen in southern Thailand, there is a muslim insurgency. They are creating havoc in the southern region of Thailand and already killed many monks and buddhist citizens. The rohingya muslims are doing the same in rakhine state just like their muslim counterparts are doing in Southern Thailand, another Buddhist country. You should understand that Myanmar has the right to tackle insurgency, every country has that right...

If a particular community rebels against the state then it is the states duty to crush the rebellion. No country in this planet would tolerate rebellion and insurgency. Stop being emotional and think practically.

They can do whatever they like provided they put it in the constitution. Supposedly secular countries like Thailand don't go this route, same in Bangladesh.

In Bangladesh Pork and Turtle meat is openly sold for Hindus and Christians who consume it. These food items are quite offensive to majority Muslims but they see the need to allow non-Muslims to buy whatever they want. Live and let live brother.....

Sanity is what sanity does. Rest (like in Myanmar) are crazy people bent on Nazi principles.
Thailand is a 94% Buddhist majority state. It can not be called a completely secular state as the king must be Buddhist by law, and Buddhism is important in the lives of the common people.
