I normally appreciate your contribution to the Afghan section of this forum. But on this I disagree with your point of view.

I think authors like these should be ignored, rather than "published and translated". Come on look at this guy, do you really believe in giving attention to some one like this?

Like I said earlier, you need to think rationally. Stop being an indian. Does Afghanistan has resources, capability, military power to take on Afghan taliban Like Pakistan has? Can Afghanistan do Zarb e Azb, type operations in Helmand, Paktia, Nuristan and in the badlands of Majority Pashtun areas ? Can Afghan military hold the ground like PA did without any foriegn help ?


If Afghanistan can do all of this, then why the hell we will suggest them to talk with Afghan talis ?

The problem is not supporting poxies,India supported NA when the war loads where finghting for control.and we stopped supporting ltte when they turned against us.
the problem is after 2001 Pakistan kept on supporting taliban even after joining WOT,if you had not joined WOT and kept supporting taliban that would have been different.

this retort is used by pakistan members quite often. They paint afghans as ungrateful while portraying themselves as saints who allowed refugees into their land. But they never acknowledge the fact that if not for Pakistanis devious schemes against Afghanistan there would have been no refugees in the first place.

Taliban reign were better and responsible except that they were not as shiny ruler as you see today or the one backed by soviet, Afghan society is traditionally conservative, though religiously inclined but moderate taliban were acceptable to them. you should understand that anything good if imposed with force is considered oppression and will never work at least in Afghanistan tribal society. let the people evolve naturally.
as far Afghanistan current worst situation is concerned if we leave aside all the high moral ground talks and who is responsible and who is not, and simply look at it from a perspective of a conflict, then that's what nation throughout centuries have seen. india have incredible days today, persian have their odds years. indeed three decade is too much for an individual, but nations have took centuries to stand again on their feet after a fall. as a nation we have suffered too much but we have lost a little, except what we lost to British and sikh that's too much.

Pakistan is winning the race in Afghanistan. For the past decade the establishment in Pakistan has been preaching the doctrine of dialogue with the Afghan Taliban and now this has been accepted by all external parties involved in the conflict, which means our stance is much stronger for negotiation purposes. Give me a legitimate authentic poll to suggest the idea, that the majority of the Pashtuns prefer India over Pakistan? Maybe India can take up the mantle of paying for the begging bowls of the Afghan refugees. Pakistan will continue to interfere in your country and the beautiful outcome of this scenario is that there is nothing you can do to stop this Your relationship with India will only occur in your dreams, which will be squashed by Pakistan. Pashtuns in Pakistan are a vibrant community and apart from the areas of the Pothohar Plateau, most of the solders come from Pashtun tribes.
