Manipur revolutionary to marry her British partner in Tamil Nadu in July

One can only confront their enemy and defend their people through armed struggle not by fake democracy (or passive revolution)
Liberation is achieved through insurrection, resistance and revolution, using every tool to destroy the oppressors and their mechanisms

sorry brother i disagree.
just because she lost elections doesnt mean she lost her credibility.
if elections were the means of judging one's credibility, then murderers n rapists sitting in our hallowed buildings of democracy has more credibility than anyone.

I respect her determination and dedication to her cause, but she did loose her credibility when she stood for election.

People recognized that all she can do is drama, not anything to actually improve their lives.

Elections ARE the means of judging the acceptance of leaders.

Nationalist Sanghis don't give a damn if she lives or dies or gets married.

It's her supporters who did not want her to get married and probability wanted to exploit her fame for personal gains. Or maybe they thought that this guy was a good for nothing.

Either way, nothing to do with Sanghi's. So give it a rest.

I respect her decision.

Have a Happy Married and Peaceful Life :-)

That has nothing to do with her wedding.

They don't want her to settle in Tamil Nadu and Kodaikanal. They are asking her to go settle in kashmir or some other place.

who are they to oppose her marriage and settling down in Tamilnadu, when Tamils / Tribals of Kodaikanal are supportive of her and her revolution.

Tribals, NGOs back Irom Sharmila

Members of the Federation of Palani Hill Tribals, Palaiyan and Pulaiyan Communities; the South Asian Peoples’ Initiatives; the Kodaimalai Ambedkar Unorganised Workers Union; and the Adhi Thamizhar Peravai, have unanimously extended their support to social activist Irom Sharmila and have appealed to the government to grant her permission to register her marriage in Kodaikanal and allow her to lead a peaceful life.

Currently, some individuals are trying to tarnish her image and disrupt her marriage. These individuals do not represent the tribal community of Kodaikanal as no tribal in the hill would go against her as she fought for the tribals in Manipur in a Gandhian way.

Members of other organisations also said the social activist should be respected and allowed to perform her marriage in Kodaikanal itself. The RDO should provide adequate protection to the couple to live in Kodaikanal and lead a peaceful life.

Unorganised Workers Union general secretary V. Thirumurugan and Aadhi Thamizhar Peravai union secretary M. Karuppusamy have also signed the petition.

They can't settle in Kashmir as Article 35A will not allow that unless revoke it :-)

Don't you recognize the people who don't want her to come ? They are your Tamil brothers from Tamil Nadu

Are you saying that Tamils are Singhi too now ? :cheesy:

Tell that to the bunch of tamils who are protesting. I don't give a fig.

It does go to show that people in Manipur donot support her. She was used by anti-Indian forces for their benefit and now discarded.

.
I wish her a happy life.
She did lose her credibility when she did not even get handful votes, it does not mean what she fights for is not correct(I support her), it means she does not have popular support, and more of a media creation than anything.

majority of the Sanghis in Tamilnadu are non Tamils (i.e Tambrahmins, Kannadigas / Telugus, Biharis or Gujaratis e.g Arjun Sampath (leaders Hindu Makkal Katchi), H Raja (BJP National Executive) Naryanan (BJP), BJP lackey Chief Editor of Tamil news channel - Pandey etc)

Tamilnadu is the bastion of Dravidianism , as a prosecuted race, even if Hindu they don't subscribe to the fanaticism of the cow belt sanghis

sanghis can cry a river, Tamils will host her. Historically Tamilnadu is home to revolutionists, just like how in the past it hosted Bengali anti imperialist activist Aurobindo , Kashmiri freedom fighters - Sheikh Abdullah, Yasin Malik

Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah, who had been interned in Ooty during the last two months, was brought here [Kodaikanal] this evening [July 14], escorted by senior police officers. The Sheikh arrived at the Kohinoor bungalow, three miles from the town, shortly before 8 p.m. He was received by the District Collector, Madurai, Mr. T.N. Seshan, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr. S.M. Diaz, and the Superintendent of Police, Madurai North, Mr. Rashanlal Handa. The bungalow is heavily guarded by armed police and tight security arrangements prevented anybody from getting near the bungalow since this afternoon.

‘Idea of the Tamil struggle cannot be killed’: Kashmiri Leader

Mr. Malik’s speech at the event was enthusiastically received by the Tamil audience, sources said.

Mr. Malik, the chairman of a faction of the JKLF, was a former militant leader in the thick of the Kashmiri insurgency in the late 80s. Arrested by the Indian forces in the early 90s, he is reported to have endured severe physical and psychological torture in detention centres in Kashmir.
