Man 'sacrifices' his 3 kids in search of treasure
BANGALORE: Acting on an occultist's advice, a man has sacrificed his three children in pursuit of some hidden treasure, police said.
The accused chopped off the head of his eight-year-old son and three-year-old daughter with a machete in a forest near Kolar three months ago, police said, adding he had killed his first-born three years ago by drowning the baby in a water tank.
The man, a resident of Bayyappanahalli on the outskirts of the city, was arrested on Friday.
