But Is Killing Just a Person (or in this case along with his sons) is the solution .... have that really Dent LeJ ???

IS could not get support of Malik Ishaq, it will keep looking for other Options .... Until & unless the root cause is not solved ... the terrorist are stop being portrayed as "Robin Hood" , People don't stop joining these organization, the radicalization is not attended and eliminated in the society ..... killing One or One Dozen won;t help in the long run ....

A temporary Gap or minor Set Back would happen but thts it ... infact thr will be chances of more splinter groups .. which would be harder to track and neutralize ...

Pakistan Need an overhaul .... Moderate & Progressive Religious Scholars have to come to the Fore ... Extremist Ideologies who are against the general norm of Islam or against State or advocate sectarianism needed to be stopped ... we need ACTUAL implementation of NATIONAL ACTION PLAN & then some ....

it will not bring an overnight change ... but we need to make right step ... RIGHT NOW !

I agree. Those who spread hatred should be killed without mercy. We should chase them down wherever they hide. LEJ will choose a new leader. That leader also needs to be sent to hell. Akram Lahori and Riaz Basra should be next. Killing one leader is not enough-eliminating the entire tree, from the root is the real task.

But On the Contrary they are Poppy Heads .... they Will keep popping up with a Different Name, Different Tag ..... Only Killing the Heads or Even Members won't bring long lasting Peace ...

Good to see we mutually thinking the right direction but i press my feeling operation cleanup should be done on both sides there are lot of extremists in other groups also needed to eradicate. The all mess started when Mr. Zia dangerously sided with extreme right wing sunni in fact deobandi sect and the Govts after Zia fail to address this issue and now it become mess. First of all hate speech on public gathering should be penalized strictly it is the main caused both sunni and shia do this i beg my pardon specially shia regularly practice this and these type of monster get the chance to attack the innocent by declaring them kafir. Many shia Allim like Fazal Naqvi and many other which i personally heard talking non-sense about Sahaba R.A and Umhatul Momeneen R.A. Govt should put restriction on majalis not to practice TABARAH to erdicate the rout cause.

I am 100% agree with you even i heard live in majlis abusing Sahaba R.A thats why people get angry and join these type of terror organisations. Govt should ban all these type of hate speeches in the name of religion. Only culling one party and leave the others is a bad idea at one point we have to eradicate their extreme group also. very well pointed out the fact @The-king

If you are suggesting action against Sipah E Muhammed I do not tend to agree. Sipah E Muhammed has almost never targetted innocent sunnis like LEJ has targetted in bombings and beheadings innocent shias. I believe Sipah E Muhammed cadres should be convinced in the rule of law and even given jobs in the police. They are mostly young angry men enraged at the killing of relatives by SSP/LEJ. That is my personal view. I think minorities need space and protection. I am a sunni btw so it is rare for one of mine to have a sympathetic view of shias and Sipah E Muhammed. But I feel shias have had it tough from the start.

We all have our flaws, including the shias. They should not insult the sahaba. And its our duty to respect each others views, sunni views for the shia and shia views for the sunni and do nothing to offend the other.

But it does not take a scholar to note that the killing has been one sided-of shia professionals mostly in cities other than Quetta but at times mostly in Quetta of Hazaras too. It is easy to become locked in the supremacy of your sect and ethnicity but it is much harder to feel empathy for others and look at the situation from their eyes. There is no excuse for killing shias the way LEJ kills them and they have killed more than a thousand. Add with that the Taliban which are working often in conjunction with the LEJ and we have a deadly mix.

If the we get Pak - China - Russia - Central Asia group going .. we can forego of GCC & Iran (the issue is with dependency) ... more dependent , More dictation ... I totally agreed with you but in that case army chief and the politicians should equally praised, Its time we can build stronger relation with Russia and i believe army is also on board which brings more confidence to our political leadership to get rid of rotten brotherly relationships which becomes over a time father to child relations.

He was buried with an LEJ militant Almost all men targetted by the Sipah e Muhammed were killers of shias. Also some incidences have taken place where rioting shias have burned sunni shops but these incidences are much rarer than the killing of shias. Lets note that Jinnah was shia too. Anyway my views will differ from many people on this reality.

A source in the govt told me this, he was set to join IS. After his detention, he ( Malik Ishaq) was asked to call in the entire top leadership to Muzafargarh, where the security officials told him that they wanted to have discussion with the LEJ leadership. Once everyone came to Muzafargarh, they were gunned down, in a fake encounter. Almost the entire top and middle level LEJ leadership was wiped off that day, which was a huge success for Pakistan security forces.

But it is always better to treat the disease before it becomes chronic. in my personal views both extremist group treated in the same way. Yes i know Mr. Jinnah was shia before he was Khoja Ismaili and later converted to tewelver Shia more mainstream.
