Malik Ishaq of Lashkar e Jhangvi Set free due to "lack of evidence".

The process is simple- provide proofs and evidence- or else the biggest terrorist would be set free-
or simply dont arrest those kinds- just kill them-

it is not that simple. when the families of the victims are threatened and none is following the cases then certainly the right things are in peril. Terrorists are protected by the state agencies past 30 years. but things will change in favour of people in next decade.

it will increase anarchy, wont solve anything... there should be a permanent strategy to solve the problem, the long term goal must to bring harmony among different segments, however, a short term strategy should be result oriented... preferably by keeping the suspects in jails and lingering on their cases...

in your hate you forget the EVIDENCE part !!

Evidence to whom? it is not over yet. None of the victim families is following up the cases as they all are aware of the games. The Biggest terrorists is usa and these are just the smaller puppets. They know they have to wait for justice for sometime.

I don't buy there was no evidence... His tie up alone to the LeJ is enough to throw him in Jail. There is no justice in Pakistan.

dude it is a matter of justice not politics.

linger on cases so that people forget the terorists and then is the ideal time to release them on grounds on missing evidence (due to retreat of victime families facing threats)

this is what that is happening today.

like the drone attacks, when terrorists too are free then certianly there will be law and order situation. the problem is that our security institutions are in hands of terrorists controlled by SAUD.

well said. it is 100% true for our country.

He was in JAIL FOR 13 years!!! How could he plan killings in 2009/10/11??? Stupid police??

All Green

Once again, a clique is persuaded that this fanatic will be helpful in bringing the LeJ out of the AQ fold - it is of course a lie, a cover to show concerned that islamist proxies will not be given up and a signal to the people of Pakistan as well. Army has once again read things wrongs, I sincerely hope the leadership pays for these decisions, not just army but those politicians who imagine extremists can deliver votes

Malik Ishaq was accused of being the key planner of the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team. His associate accused namely, Javed Anwar, Abdullah and Ubaidur Rehman had been arrested from Shahdara. It was claimed that the men had confessed to their involvement in the cricket team attack. Some officials informed the press on condition of anonymity that Malik Ishaq enjoyed the Punjab government’s financial assistance ever since the Sharifs came to power in 2008. The accused terror kingpin belongs to the banned Sunni outfit LeJ and has been nominated in 44 cases in which 70 people were killed. During imprisonment, he used to receive a monthly stipend from the Punjab government. He and his family have been well looked after. No wonder he had a big grin on his face. Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah confirmed the disbursement but clarified that it was given to Ishaq’s family, not him, as per the orders of the court. However, further investigations revealed that neither were there any such disbursements during General Musharraf’s regime nor was there any court order pertaining to the matter. Rana Sanaullah always looks very comfortable in telling lies and giving disinformation, which was proved once again. The Punjab government’s financial support to the terrorist was purely meant to protect the PML-N’s vote bank and the street mafia in its favor. Earlier Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has got the support of banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba in the by-polls in Jhang. Rana Sanaullah had visited Jhang few days back and held meeting with banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba leader Mohammad Ahmed Ludhyanvi for getting support for by-polls at PP-82.

we need to remove extremism at all cost even if by extra judicial means ..

these cases are sensitive and politicized, so the strategy should be to avoid public hue and cry and making of hero or villains for nothing...

since 1982 he is killing.
he is special guest of estbalishment in jail. terrorists caught named him.
one day justice will be done to him by Allah.

hardly makes any sense, the last year violence in Karachi was all put on one dude by police.... and that too after his death...yes brother of Jindullah founder Regy.

so, its just the same here... sab malba aik hi per dal do... just like street crimes law... if you are caught snatching a phone, whether be it your first or third...all 200 snatching cases are on you !!
