Maldives Water Crisis: India Transports 1,000 Tonnes of Fresh Water to Male

A Navy vessel and an Air Force aircraft carrying nearly 1,000 tonnes of fresh water reached Male today as India mounted a major effort to help the Maldivian capital that is reeling from an acute shortage of drinking water after its lone desalination plant caught fire.

Isnt the Maldives Govt very anti-India they screwed us recentlyt regarding some airport if I am not mistaken...

They cancelled airport deal with GMR and awarded the deal to some Chinese company. Now GMR is suing Maldives govt. No prizes for guessing who is behind this anti India move !
